Linksys Extender Setup RE6300 is easy with its browser-based setup feature. There is no requirement for setup CD.
Follow the instructions in the same order as given below for Linksys RE6300 setup:

So, let’s begin. 

Step 1:

With the help of a computer or a smart mobile, try to connect the device to your extender's default SSID that is Linksys Extender Setup – xxx. 

NOTE:  xxx represents the last three characters of the RE6300’s MAC address which can be easily found on the back of the device.

Step 2:
Next, open a web browser on your smart device and then type "http://extender.linksys.com" or "192.168.1.1" in the Address bar.

Step 4:

The As a wireless range extender option will be selected automatically. Click on Next.

 Step 5:
Select the Wi-Fi according to your wish.  

QUICK TIP:  If you have a hidden SSID then also there is no need to worry, scroll down the list, and click on Manually Enter Network Name and Password. Or else, wait till it detects your Wi-Fi. 

Step 6:
Key in the password in the password field and then tap Next. 

Step 7:
Once you are connected then you will be asked to configure the extended wireless network that your extender will be broadcasting. It’s your wish to change the settings or leave the defaults as it is, then click on .
 
Step 8:
Click on the Next button if the Spot Finder highlights that the extender place is just right. 

This feature determines the signal strength between the range extender and your router. If it highlights that the extender is Too far or Too close then find a better location for your extender and then return to Step 1.  

Step 9:
Now move forward with Linksys Extender Setup RE6300 and form an admin password to secure your Linksys extender. Click on   once you're successfully done with it.

 Step 10:
Now an option as Register your product will be given to register it, type your Email Addressand then click on.
